Possibly one of the most versatile dishes around fried fish is a feast for the eyes and the palate.The spices and the masala lends a very earthy flavor to the dish but above all gives an authentic flavor to the fish and sure hits the spot. Clean the fish and pat it dry using a kitchen tissue.Make a fine paste of all the other ingredients except the oil .Marinate the fish with the mixture and set it aside for an hour .Heat a pan with oil and shallow or deep fry the fish.
Garnish with some fried curry leaves.Serve hot with steamed rice or with some steamed vegetables.
